We repair bumpers damaged by scuffs, cracks and impacts. Free estimates.
The sections below are general information about how this kind of repair works. Your vehicle may need something different, and we will tell you after we look at it.
What a bumper is made of
Most bumpers you see are a painted plastic cover. Behind the cover is a metal or foam reinforcement bar and foam or plastic absorbers that take the real force of a hit. A bumper cover can look fine and still have damage behind it, which is why a bumper hit deserves a look.
Repair or replace
Scuffs, scrapes and many small cracks can be repaired and repainted. A bumper cover that is badly split, or has broken mounting tabs, is often replaced.
Parking sensors and cameras
Many bumpers carry parking sensors, radar or cameras. After a repair these may need to be put back precisely and checked so they work as they should.
Bumper repair and your insurance claim
If the damage is covered by insurance, we send the claim to your insurer for you. The choice of shop stays yours, and we are not contracted with any insurance company.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a cracked bumper be repaired, or does it need replacing?
Many cracks and scuffs can be repaired and repainted. A bumper with damage to its mounts, or one that is broken into pieces, is usually cheaper and better to replace. We will tell you honestly which it is.
Do bumpers hide other damage?
They can. A scraped bumper cover can hide a bent support or a cracked mount behind it, and newer cars keep sensors and cameras in the bumper. It is worth having someone look behind it.
Will my bumper sensors still work after a repair?
Parking sensors and radar behind the bumper need to be put back where they were, and some need to be checked afterward. It is a fair question to ask any shop.
Is a bumper repair covered by insurance?
It depends on your policy and your deductible. If the repair costs less than your deductible, it is often cheaper to pay for it yourself and leave your insurer out of it. We will give you a written estimate so you can decide.
